Not to Forget: UFC Fight Night 19

September 16th on Spike TV is going to be a smorgasbord of MMA for the fan to salivate to. First, you get to watch some great fights with UFC Fight Night Live DIAZ vs GUILLARD. This card is loaded with some hard hitters and octagon savvy vets, sure to please the KO fan & the submission fan. UFC Fight Live has brought extraordinary fights in the past and I am sure this one will not disappoint. Names like, Melvin Guillard, Roger Huerta, Carlos Condit and Steve Cantwell, just to name a few. All these guys can bring it and spark a fight of the night.

In the main event you have a scrappy Nate Diaz and on the other side an explosive Melvin Guillard. This fight ought to be interesting. Daiz coming off two losses against Clay Guida & Joe Stevenson. Diaz surely needs a win to bring up his stock or risk release from the UFC. Melvin Guillard is coming off two wins one by KO(Dennis Siver)and decision win over Gleison Tibau. Guillard has been caught in submissions being to aggressive though, which makes me believe that Daiz will want this on the ground. Should be interesting to see what happens on the feet. Guillard has knockout power. Diaz really does not bring the heat but has Black Belt Jujitsu and is always a threat on the ground.

The other match that could possibly be fight of the night is the rubber match between Steve Cantwell & Brian Stann. Each fighter has a win over the other. Both these guys have knockout power and can end things quickly. I do not see this one getting passed the 1st round. Someone is going to get knocked out.

TUF alumni Phillipe Nover also needs to prove that he can still compete in the UFC. Phillipe lost to Efrain Escudero during the TUF finale then got knocked out by Kyle Bradley during UFC 98. Nover really needs to step it up against octagon vet Sam Stout. Anybody that knows UFC knows that Sam Stout is no slouch. Very tough test for Phillipe coming off two losses. It will be a great fight.

Right after all the UFC Fight Night mayhem and destruction comes the TUF season that we have all been waiting for. The Heavy Weights. Loaded with ex pro football players, IFL champion, wrestling All-Americans and the Internet star Kimbo Slice. This season is sure to please. All this action packed into one night is a MMA fans dream. UFC Fight Night will surely be one to remember and the anticipation of TUF season 10 is mounting. The DVR will be set to record and the snacks will be plentiful as Spike TV brings one of the best nights of fights and entertainment ever.
Below are my predictions for UFC Fight Night Live 19:
